Who are the users?

Geeks at first and all the other users later, when the correct templates of usage are found after submitting of UX data of beta testers

What is the proposed function?

Prerequisite tasks which need to be done:

Suggestion: when timer rings it has to be look like a real phone call, with adjustable name of caller from contact list,

What is the user value?

If there are existing comparable functions in the smartphone industry, how is your proposed feature superior?

There is some of this kind of automation in AOSP based custom firmwares, LOS, CrDroid, Pixel Experience etc, but for nowadays none of them has done this setting in so adjustable, flexible and comprehensive way. I believe that within 6 months beta-testers and other users will give many and more main use cases, so we can focus on them to improve functionality further in the way users like to.

Be sure to:

-Explain the logic behind this product and how you want it to be implemented

The main aim of this feature is to eliminate necessity to unlock the phone, watch in the screen and choose the proper shortcut or icon just to make a simple task, within one day of use this hotkey automation any user will get used to it and never look for other brands.

I believe other benefits are clear, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask me here or at https://t.me/cinechat

-Include directions and details via diagram sketches. Draw each screen and show the flow from screen to screen. (See the design principles post if you’d like an example.)

I hope existing design of the OxygenOS is enough to implement this feature, which can look as extension but actually revolutionise the smartphone as an utility tool.

We will use the following questions to scrutinize your pitch:

From the Product department – does it contribute to a burdenless experience?

Yes of course, as I said this feature eliminates so much actions users need to make everyday and everynight (torch at a hotkey)

From the developers - how will different parts of the existing OS interact with this new feature?

Reuse of existing features, which is need only be triggered by new kind of triggers

From UX Design – what will the user experience be like?

Just press the button and smartphone will do what YOU want from him!

Does the current flow result in the optimal user journey?

Oh yes!
